AHA Courses only: Registered participants must complete the HeartCode BLS, ACLS, PALS, or Heartsaver online eLearning module from the American Heart Association before attending the hands-on practice/testing session. These courses can be found by going to http://www.onlineaha.org. Hover over the course drop-down menu at the top of the webpage to purchase your Heartcode eLearning module (excludes UK-COM students).
BLS COURSE
All AHA courses offered by the Northern Kentucky University Center for Simulation Education utilize a hybrid learning model. Upon registration, learners will be provided with instructions on how to obtain a key code for an online module that will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete. Learners will also attend a skills testing class where they will be assessed on BLS technical and non-technical skills through objective feedback devices. Skills testing classes are offered at the Northern Kentucky University Center for Simulation Education.
