Class Schedule

AHA Courses only: Registered participants must complete the HeartCode BLS, ACLS, PALS, or Heartsaver online eLearning module from the American Heart Association before attending the hands-on practice/testing session.  These courses can be found by going to http://www.onlineaha.org. Hover over the course drop-down menu at the top of the webpage to purchase your Heartcode eLearning module (excludes UK-COM students).

 

 

CPR Certification - Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

BLS COURSE

All AHA courses offered by the Northern Kentucky University Center for Simulation Education utilize a hybrid learning model. Upon registration, learners will be provided with instructions on how to obtain a key code for an online module that will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete. Learners will also attend a skills testing class where they will be assessed on BLS technical and non-technical skills through objective feedback devices. Skills testing classes are offered at the Northern Kentucky University Center for Simulation Education. 

 

 

ACLS Certification - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

ACLS COURSE

All AHA courses offered by the Northern Kentucky University Center for Simulation Education utilize a hybrid learning model. Upon registration, learners will be provided with instructions on how to obtain a key code for an online module that will take approximately 3-4 hours to complete. Learners will also attend a skills testing class where they will be assessed on ACLS technical and non-technical skills through objective feedback devices. Skills testing classes are offered at the Northern Kentucky University Center for Simulation Education. 

 

Clinical Makeup

Please note that in order to attend the clinical makeup session, a Clinical Makeup Course registration fee of $100.00 must be remitted to NKU.
